I had a really lovely experience and would definitely go again. Incredible location very close to the loch, amiable stuff, everything was well-maintained. The breakfast was great with gluten free options and decaf-got powdered instant coffee, for instance.

Good location with parking possibility directly in front of the hotel. Very good food and breakfast. All staff very friendly and courteous. Authentic pub. Price and service is right.

The hotel is located on the main road, but our room was still very quiet. It was very clean and after a walk through Portsoy we decided to eat at the hotel. The restaurant was also visited by locals and we had a very tasty meal, including a cozy pub that invites you to a nightcap. The reception was very friendly and we felt comfortable.

The hotel and the rooms are a bit outdated, a renovation would be appropriate in some places.

The food was banging! Had the beef and ale pie, and it was heavenly. Plus, they even welcomed my dogs into the bar. Staff were great, always ready with a smile to brighten the day.

Unfortunately, the plumbing was a bit dodgy , but it didn't overshadow the fab experience overall. A heads up for the owner-perhaps add some thicker curtains in the parents' room. Those street lights can be bright!

A very comfortable homely feel about the place,we had a great spacious double room with all facilties. Restaurant menu very varied and portions were generous, the sweet section was very difficult to choose from - I liked everything!! We would have no hesitation to recommend The Station and when we are back in the area again we will be back.

Nice hotel with its free wi-fi, cozy bar/lounge area, and helpful staff. I still remember how they kindly returned my forgotten jewellery! I highly recommend staying here for a comfortable experience. I'm returning for a romantic escape.

I thought it was a nice relaxed atmosphere, I was there for a party and thought the function suite was a fine size and tastefully decorated, I would definately recommend the use of the function suite for any occasion. I also had a meal which was definatelty to my taste also gentle on the purse.
